Alan Kopin is a Professor of Medicine at Tufts University School of Medicine and holds basic science appointments in the Tufts Neuroscience Department and the Tufts Genetics Program. He is board certified in internal medicine. Dr. Kopin is a physician-scientist interested in solving problems relevant to human health and disease through bridging academic medicine and commercial development. He is Internationally recognized for work in molecular endocrinology and pharmacology with specialized expertise in the G protein-coupled receptor (GPCR) field. He has had diverse roles within biotech companies include founder, CSO, consultant, and investor.
